Meet our Founder.

Sachin Mehta

Sachin is the Founder and Entrepreneur behind Covalent Growth Partners. He is passionate about small business and is fully committed to supporting founder and family-owned businesses.

Sachin spent the past decade advising business owners, private equity investors, and C-suite executives through pivotal strategic moments. Most recently at L.E.K. Consulting, he focused on growth strategy, M&A diligence, and corporate value creation.

Earlier in his career, Sachin worked closely with small- and medium-sized business owners through business transitions and exits. Seeing what worked well and what was often lost during ownership changes shaped his conviction that succession should prioritize people, culture, and long-term durability. That belief ultimately led him to launch Covalent Growth Partners.

Sachin is an operator and builder by nature. He helped scale a new business line at L.E.K. from 5 to 40+ professionals and played a key role in launching UHY’s Corporate Finance practice. Long before his professional career, Sachin built and ran several small businesses, including a seasonal snow removal business and an education services venture. He deeply respects how difficult it is to build something that lasts and does not take lightly the responsibility of carrying a business forward.

Sachin holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a dual degree in Mathematics and Business Administration from the University of Waterloo. Sachin is a CPA and begin his career as an Auditor at PwC.

Outside of work, Sachin is learning the ropes of becoming a new father, with much of his personal life centered around raising a newborn with his wife. He is an avid traveler and enjoys staying active through swimming, biking, soccer and spending time outdoors.

Selling your business is a major milestone and life-defining moment. We emphasize building trust and navigating the process hand-in-hand with you.

We move quickly and with full confidentiality, aiming for a fast, thoughtful exit that respects your legacy and your family’s goals. We will also ensure a seamless transition for your employees and customers.

  • Initial conversation to get to know each other (30-45 minutes).

  • Let’s meet in person and explore our mutual fit. Learn more about your business, future plans, and priorities. If there is alignment, we may submit an initial offer to acquire your business (48 hours).

  • Mutually agree on price, key terms and path forward. Formalize our shared vision into a formal Letter of Intent (2 weeks).

  • Conduct a comprehensive review of the business. Our goal is to minimize disruption while building trust throughout the process. Deep dive together to set up a successful transition (60-90 days).

  • Work collaboratively to finalize the deal.
